Ubiquiti has released new firmware for its routers from the AmpliFi High-Density WiFi System with 3.0.0 as the version number. This is a wifi system that works with one router and possibly one or more satellites with which it forms a mesh wifi system. The system is aimed at an easy installation of a fully covering Wi-Fi network at home, without the need for in-depth network knowledge. The router is equipped with a small touchscreen and can be set in detail via an app on iOS and Android. The list of changes to this issue is as follows:
Changes in version 3.0.0:
Guest Network in bridge mode
Friend Network *
Option to bypass internet pause for a single device *
Wi-Fi protected setup using mobile app *
Added DHCP Option 61 (Client ID) support *
Support for TR-069
Guest devices are now accessible via LAN
Added AmpliFi Instant and Gamer’s edition support for Teleport
Security updates and stability improvements
Minor bug fixes
* Some functionality will be enabled with future app updates.
We use gradual update rollout. It may take up to a week for your device to receive this update.
