The racing game Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, announced a year ago, will be released on September 22. Publisher Nacon has released a new trailer that makes it clear that the action will take place in Hong Kong.

It is a cinematic trailer in which two cars of all brands race against each other in different places in and around Hong Kong. The equally cinematic trailer from April this year only showed cars from Aston Martin and Land Rover, but now cars from Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Lamborghini are also passing by.

According to Nacon, the location, in this case Hong Kong, has been recreated on a 1:1 scale. It doesn’t seem to be a very realistic simulation game. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown’s Steam page states that the new title retains the DNA of the early games, but also “renews it for the modern age.” Players have the freedom to progress however they wish, including through the return of the open championship concept. In addition to racing, cruising and hanging out with friends are also among the possibilities, which are specifically mentioned by the publisher.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown was announced exactly one year ago. Just like the previous parts, it is an open world racing game. The latest edition is made by KT Racing, the developer known for the WRC rally games. The racing game will be released for Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 4 and 5, PC, and the Nindendo Switch.
