Teenage Engineering has made available the designs of accessories for its IKEA Frekvens speakers and lamps. Owners of 3d printers can use the designs to print the accessories themselves.

On its page for ‘Frekvens hacks’, the Swedish designers publish, among other things, the stl files for handles, stands and cup holders that can be attached to the speakers and LED lighting in the IKEA Frekvens line. Construction instructions are bundled with the files for the designs that consist of different parts.

IKEA announced at the end of December that it was collaborating with Teenage Engineering for the Frekvens line. That line consists of compact speakers and lamps that can respond to music. Various accessories are available as standard, such as a tripod and fronts for the speakers and LED spots. The Frekvens products will be on sale this month. Teenage Engineering is best known for its handheld synthesizers.
