Square Enix is ​​not considering any acquisition or sale, including parts of the company. That says the publisher after reporting in the media. On Thursday, a business website wrote that there were several interested parties in Square Enix.

In a brief response, Square Enix Holdings, Square Enix’s Japanese parent company, wrote that no third-party bids have been received and that the company has no plans to sell Square Enix or any part of it.

Square Enix says it is responding to reports from Bloomberg, but the takeover rumors originally appeared on Thursday on CTFN, a website about takeovers.

CTFN claimed that several knowledgeable bankers have said Square Enix is ​​in talks with parties for an acquisition. Bloomberg published a short article on CTFN’s report on its Japanese site and Bloomberg wrote on its English site that Square Enix’s stock rose after CTFN published the rumors.
