Sony has announced a remaster of PlayStation 4 games Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the standalone expansion Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The two games are coming to PC and PlayStation 5 in the Legacy of Thieves Collection.

The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be released early next year for the PlayStation 5 and PC, Sony writes. A release date has not yet been announced. The PC version is made by Iron Galaxy and will be released ‘shortly after’ the release of the PlayStation 5 version. It is the first time that a game from the Uncharted series is coming to PC.

Uncharted 4 was released in 2016 for the PlayStation 4. In the adventure game, main character Nathan Drake goes in search of Captain Avery’s lost treasure. The game takes place in the jungle of Madagascar. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was released in 2017 as a standalone expansion, starring sisters Nadine Ross and Chloe Frazer. This expansion takes place in India.

Sony does not write anything about the possibility to upgrade Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy. It is not yet clear whether owners of the PlayStation 4 versions will be able to play the improved version on the PS5.
