Sony seems to be planning a beta for racing game Gran Turismo 7. PlayStation users can sign up through a promotion page, but the code they receive next doesn’t work. It may be a placeholder.
There is a Gran Turismo Quest on the Experience PlayStation Italian promotions page. After watching the GT7 trailer for ten seconds, logged in users will receive a code to participate in the beta on the PlayStation 5. However, everyone will receive the same code and it cannot be redeemed, GTPlanet notes.
The details state that it is a beta test for the PlayStation 5. Gran Turismo 7 will also be released for the PlayStation 4, but there may only be a beta for the new console. It is not yet known when Sony wants to start the test and for whom it will be available.
Gran Turismo 7 was announced in June 2020 and should have been released in 2021. At the beginning of this year, Sony announced that this will no longer be achieved and the game was postponed to 2022. GT7 is the successor of Gran Turismo 6 from 2013. Gran Turismo Sport was released in 2017, a title that is strongly focused on e-sports. Judging by the name and the previously released trailer, the new game seems to focus less on that.
