When developing Windows XP, Microsoft has tried to redesign the user interface. However, a few things have been overlooked here and there. This is where XPize comes in. This program patches Windows XP in various places to modify icons, avi’s and bitmaps that Microsoft hasn’t updated since Windows 2000 or even longer ago. on this page several screenshots can be admired. In addition to XPize, there is also a special version for unattended installations called e XPize uAE† XPize itself has just arrived at version 3.1 and its changelog looks like this:
