On the Sourceforge homepage of Xine can be found that there is a new version of this video player for Linux. With this program it is possible to play MPEG, DivX and other video formats under Linux. Unfortunately there was no changelog for this version. However, it is reported that a number of bugs have been fixed:
04.08.2002: The latest xine release is 0.9.13. While the focus is again on bugfixes (eg avi files with more than one audio track should work now), there are also nice new features such as demuxers for wav/smjpeg/id cin, native decoders for aac (from faad2) and wmv7. xine-ui uses the xinetic skin by default again, but two alternative skins (cloudy and CelomaChrome) are also included in the tarball.
