The folks behind WinHex have released a new service release of the 11.6 series. This release is from here down and has a size of about 835 kilobytes. WinHex is capable of low-level data processing and file editing through a hex editor. In addition, it is possible to use the program as a disk and RAM editor. Version 11.6 SR-15 ships with the following changes as of Service Release 3:

11.6 SR-2: Error in hash matching fixed

11.6 SR-3: File recovery by type temporarily had no effect, this was fixed.

11.6 SR-6: Error in Encase image support fixed, gallery problems under Windows 9x/Me fixed

11.6 SR-10: Temporary unused FILE record initialization bug fixed
