Download Winamp 5.623 build 3199

Nullsoft has released version 5.623 build 3199 Winamp. Winamp can be downloaded in different variants. The Lite version can only play music files; the Full version also allows viewing video files and listening to Shoutcast broadcasts. Furthermore, the Full version has a media library and can be used to rip CDs. Finally, there is the Pro version, which costs 13.50 euros. With the Pro version it is possible, among other things, to encode files, burn CDs and play video files with h264 compression. In version 5.623, the following changes and improvements have been made:

• mp3 decoding errors at end of file (should fix reported CD burning errors)
• [aacdec] Detection of parametric stereo for AAC files made with older encoders
• [enc_fhgaac] MP4 encoder not always closing on errors or aborted transfers
• [in_avi] Crashing with certain malformed AVI files
• [in_flac & in_mp4] Memory leaks
• [in_mod] Bounds check for comments parsing
• [pmp] Multithreaded race condition (now supports thread-safe transfers)
• [pmp_android] Embedded album art being deleted on transfers
