Download Winamp 3.0 build 499

On the Winamp forum we found the news about a new release of Winamp 3. Winamp started out as a simple and easy to use MP3 player but over time the developers have added more and more features and options. First other audio formats were added, but with Winamp 3 things were changed and a large number of media formats were added, such as support for AVI and MPEG files. The version number has been increased to 3.0 build 499 and has the following changelog:

• Fixed Bug #2523: Player hangs with http auth dialog
• Advanced Playlist options in preferences
  Another shuffle slider. Default playlist naming. column. Loading playlists.
• Video Overlay controls in Preferences
  Uncheck “Accept YV12” if video playback is blue.
• Cursor hide delay slider for video in Preferences
• Maintenance release
• Linux Build due soon
