Software update: VueScan 9.6.08

Hamrick Software has released version 9.6.08 of VueScan. The program can be used as a replacement for the twain drivers included with scanners and often offers more setting possibilities. In many cases, the program can also control scanners if the manufacturer has not issued a driver for the operating system in question. In addition to scanning, it can also perform some operations, such as crop, sharpen, grain reduction and adjusting the color balance. VueScan is available for Windows, macOS and Linux, and offers support for over 2400 scanners under Windows, more than 2100 under macOS and 1900 under Linux.
