Download VirtualDub 1.6.2 experimental

A new experimental version of the video capturing and editing program of the same name has appeared on the VirtualDub website in the form of version 1.6.2. The software is only suitable for Windows, is open source, and is available in a 32-bit version and a special one intended for AMD64 processors† The capture module in this release is more modular and much more flexible. The big advantage of this is that it now works with both Video for Windows and DirectShow to capture images, meaning the WDM capture drivers work much better. • Fixed occasional crash when using DirectX display mode with 8-bit display.

• Fixed source formatting tags in timeline strings reporting huge frame numbers at the end of the timeline.
