Software update: Ventoy 1.0.28

Spread the love

Ventoy is an open source program that can be used to create self-starting USB sticks. However, the way it does that is different from comparable tools. The USB stick only needs to be prepared once and then as many ISO files can be placed or modified on the stick as there is space. Ventoy automatically creates a boot menu for the existing ISO files. Support is in place for both UEFI and legacy boot and it has been tested with over 560 different ISO files† Below is the changelog for this release.

changes

  • Add -L option in Ventoy2Disk.sh to set the label of 1st partition (default is ventoy)
  • Expansion for option VTOY_DEFAULT_IMAGE (eg F4>Search and boot Windows). Notes
  • Persistence support for Kaspersky Rescue Disk Notes
  • Prohibit the use of Ventoy in unofficial environments. Notes
  • vtoyboot-1.0.5 release. Notes

New iso support

  • siduction-patience-nox-amd64-latest.iso (Legacy + UEFI)
