Cerulean Studios has released a new beta release of version 5.0 of the instant messaging program Trillian Astra, its second this week. Trillian Astra allows chatting with users of many instant messaging and social networks, including Windows Live, ICQ, Skype (text only), Twitter and Facebook. Trillian Astra is available for Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, Android and BlackBerry. In addition, there is a version that runs in a web browser and can therefore be used anywhere. Version 5 mainly improves the possibilities for social media. In addition, support for Foursquare has been added and synchronization of data between the different clients is possible. In version 5.0 build 29 beta we find the following bug fixes:
