Software Update: Trillian Astra 4.2 Build 17 Beta

Cerulean Studios released another beta release of version 4.2 of the instant messaging program Trillian Astra on Monday. Trillian Astra allows chatting with users of a variety of instant messaging and social networks, including Windows Live, ICQ, Skype (text only), Twitter and Facebook. At the moment Trillian Astra is available for Windows and Mac OS X, there is an app for the iPhone and there is a version that runs in a web browser. The following bug fixes have been made in this release:

  • [IL] Featured support w/ pref to turn off
  • [IL] Strip formatting from menu text
  • [Menu] Multiline support
  • [Menu] Tooltips for ellipsis menus
  • [YAHOO] Webcams crash when closing down
  • [MSN] Msn default name overriding is not working with names that starts with “%” sign.
  • [MSN] Trillian invisible away mode changes personal/status message in Windows Live Messenger
  • [WLM] Typing indicator shows up even if chat partner is not typing
