Software Update: TMonitor 1.01 Beta

Spread the love

CpuID, known for the processor identification program CPU-Z and the hardware monitoring program HWMonitor, among others, is developing a new program called TMonitor. This makes it possible to see the active clock of each individual thread on the processor. Due to the high refresh rate, the variation can even be observed in real time. TMonitor currently only works with Intel’s Core 2 and Core i processors. The program is also able to recognize techniques such as Intel Turbo boost and can thus show what effect this has. Below is a screenshot of an Intel Core i7 870 with a Lynnfield core, showing the Turbo boost in yellow.
