Software Update: The GIMP 2.2.11 and 2.3.8

The developers behind the GNU Image Manipulation Program have released new versions of the GIMP. In the stable branch it is about version 2.2.11 and the so-called development build has arrived at 2.3.8. The GIMP is a photo editing program and is considered by many to be the open source counterpart of Adobe Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro and is available for Windows, Unix and Mac OS X, among others.
