Software Update: TFT Tester 1.1 – Update

AtleX sent in the following mess: “After constantly fiddling with different monitor test programs at customers, I have put together a very simple test program called TFT Tester. It can test CRT and TFT monitors in Windows for color and brightness distribution ( by means of running the program in full screen), dead pixels (striking mercilessly with the changing colors) and convergence (by drawing straight lines on the screen it is immediately visible if the monitor has a deviation).” TFT Tester can be downloaded from our file server and weighs about 176 kilobytes as a rar package. To get an impression of what the program looks like, a screen shot has been placed below:

Update: Shortly after the release of the first version of TFT Tester, AtleX has fixed two small bugs in the software: “The checkmark next to the menu item “Fullscreen” now works properly and a problem that caused the program to crash under Windows 2000 SP2 , has now also been rectified.” The new version can be taken down from the same location.
