Download Tag&Rename 3.3
After two betas and a release candidate, it’s finally time for the final version of Tag&Rename 3.3 to come out. Softpointer, the maker of Tag&Rename, labels the program as ‘music organizing software’ and that is exactly what it can do: organizing music collections. With the help of Tag&Rename it is easy to rename files and add or change any id3 tags – for example from an online database such as freedb.org. Almost all well-known and lesser-known formats are supported: mp3, ogg, wma, mp4, flac and ape. In the last ten days between the release candidate and the final version of 3.3, the following things have been covered according to the changelog:
Tag&Rename v3.3 (12/22/2006):
- added butch functions to work with folder.jpg files
- now Tag&Rename save Mood frame in ID3v2 tags compatible with Windows Media Player
- fixed bug in APEv2 tag wring (incorrect tag size in tag header)
- some minor fixes[break]
