Download Sysinternals Suite 2009-06-04
A new version of Sysinternals Suite was released on Thursday. The Sysinternals Suite is a collection of useful tools for managing Windows computers. The software can be used for troubleshooting and information gathering, among other things. The various tools were written by Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell. Initially for Sysinternals, but both gentlemen have been working for Microsoft for a while now. Examples of programs included in the package are Process Explorer, Bginfo, contig and disk mon. In total it concerns a collection of no less than 65 tools. Since the previous release, the following two components have been updated:
VMmap v2.0:
VMMap now breaks out information on memory used by the .NET CLR, enabling detailed memory analysis of managed applications.
ClockRes v2.0:
This update to Clockres, a system utility that reports the frequency of the system clock, now shows the upper and lower resolution of the system clock.
