Software Update: Simple Port Forwarding 2.7.12

Spread the love

In order for certain programs to work properly, such as a BitTorrent client or an online game, it is sometimes necessary to open the correct ports on the router or point them to the correct computer on the network. However, not every router is equally easy to configure and that is something Simple Port Forwarding can help with. All that needs to be done is pick the right router from a list of nearly 1100 supported choose types, enter the router’s username and password, and finally select which application to add. The program then makes the appropriate adjustments to the router’s configuration. Version 2.7.12 was released on Wednesday and the following changes have been made since the previous entry in the Meuktracker:

Changes in version 2.7.12

  • Tweaked the detect router code to auto detect more routers.
  • Fixed small bug in silent mode option.

Changes in version 2.7.11

  • Added more commands to handle more routers.

Changes in version 2.7.10

  • Added support for the program to use both ADO and DAO. The program will first try to use ADO to connect to the databases, if it fails it will use DAO instead. This should help the people who have one or the other corrupt on their system.
