At the end of June, Rhino Software updated its ftp server software Serv-U to version 6.1.0.0 and a few days ago an update was released in the form of 6.1.0.1. This small and easy-to-use program has plenty of options on board to satisfy even the professional. It can be tried as a Corporate Edition for the first thirty days. You then have an unlimited number of configurable domains, users per domain, simultaneous connections, and the option to set up secure connections (SSL/TLS). After this trial period, the program will continue as a Personal Edition with somewhat limited functionality, including only a maximum of two domains and five user accounts. Below are the changes since version 6.1.0.0:

• Removed pointed-to-path for links from MLSD, to avoid possibility of spaces within ‘facts’ section.

• Fixed bug where upper case %USER% was not recognized for the physical part of virtual paths.
• Fixed bug that erronously showed 127.0.0.1 as the server IP for connected clients.
• Fixed bug where REST offset did not get canceled after STOR or RETR.
