The folks at Synop have released a new release of Sauce Reader. The update can be downloaded as beta version 1.7 and comes with four improvements compared to its predecessor. Sauce Reader uses Microsofts .NET Framework 1.1 and is capable of tracking, categorizing, and retrieving your collection of RSS feeds. What has changed in this release can be admired below:

Integrated comment download, reading and posting using the Comment API

Improved security for handling potentially unsafe HTML in feed items

Support for common operations (eg delete item) from inside the browser window

Feed reading with the browser window maximized (2-pane view)
