Download Safari 1.0
After the blow that came with the announcement of the Apple G5 specifications, the release of Safari 1.0 hardly resembled a crack gun. Nevertheless, the Mac user community has not completely forgotten that Apple’s own Web browser has been declared mature by its programmers: many websites worldwide are already visited with the brand new release of Safari.
The software previously caused a stir by causing Internet Explorer development for Mac OS to be halted. Microsoft believes that Apple has an unfair advantage in developing software for Macs. Fortunately, history did not repeat itself; Microsoft had to process a series of lawsuits for this reason a few months ago, but decided to leave Apple alone in this area.
The development of Safari could therefore continue undisturbed, which has now resulted in version 1.0 of the software. Unfortunately, Apple isn’t very good at providing comprehensive changelogs. The only indication of what has changed is found in this form:
INow the default browser for Mac OS X, Safari features AutoTab for quick loading of bookmark folders, bookmark syncing, increased standards support and is available in all Mac OS X languages.[break]The new version is here to find.
