RootkitRevealer is able to reveal so-called rootkits. Once the program is launched, it scans the system for the presence of rogue software trying to hide. RootkitRevealer became famous for discovering Sony’s daring DRM software during a routine check on Mark Russinovich’s system. A new version of RootkitRevealer was released today. The new update has therefore arrived at version number 1.70 and is from this location as a zip package. The following changes have been made in 1.70:
