Software update: ratDVD 0.75.1331

The program ratDVD has been updated to version 0.75.1331. With this program, a complete DVD-9 movie can be compressed to approximately 1GB while retaining all the features of the DVD, such as menus, different angles, different image formats (16:9, 4:3, Pan/Scan , WideScreen, Letterbox), etc. For this, the program uses its own .ratDVD container format. It is also possible to convert a .ratDVD back to DVD. More information can be found on this page to be found. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:

Bug fixes:

• Fix for Shellextension that caused Windows Explorer not to display some DVD Covers from tagged ratDVDs in thumbnail mode
• Fix to enable creating double layer DVDs from ratDVD – In case of a very long ratDVD or a ratDVD with many very big included streams it is now possible to recreate the original DVD to a double layer media which can lead to significantly better quality
• Fix for a decoding problem that sometimes could happen in case of different quality settings for different cellsets
• Fix for problems with registering filters during installation that caused playback problems
• Fix for a problem converting ratDVDs with multiple dots in file name
