Download Quintessential Player beta build 118

Paul Quinn recently released beta build 118 of his Quintessential Player. This audio-focused media player plays mp3, ogg, wav and audio CDs and can also rip the latter. There is also a built-in MP3 encoder and support for streaming audio. In addition, this player is fully skinnable and has an extensive tag editor and cddb support. Quintessential Player is free and contains no spyware or adware. If you really appreciate this program, the maker will be very happy if you send him a postcard. Changes in development build 118

QMP Build 118 is out and is largely a bug-fixing build. Most issues reported by plugin developers should be addressed. Only UI update was made to the preferences: new skin font settings was created to replace the previous font selection UI.

The fact that this is a bug-fixing build means a release is close. Besides some small feature tweaks, we just need the final QMP skin and website updates to be completed. Changes in development build 117

• The Media Library is now built on the SQLite database engine.
• The Media Library plug-in interfaces have been solidified.
• Gracenote Playlist is no longer included.
• Bug Tracker reports were not reviewed for this build.
