Entech Taiwan released version 3.78 build 615 of PowerStrip on Thursday. This program is a handy all-in-one tool to tweak the video card and display. For example, it is possible to adjust the refresh rate step by step and to overclock the video memory. Non-standard resolutions can also be added, for example for use with a widescreen television or beamer. The program is available in two versions; the first contains only the English languagethe other contains multiple language packs. This release includes improvements to the pixel clock calculation on the Radeon R500 and R600 GPUs and changes to how keyboard shortcuts are handled to better handle Windows Vista’s UAC.
