Download Power-Grab 2002 2.2

Power Grab is a small program to download files from newsgroups. Version 2.2 is the latest release and has the following changes†

v2.2 Fixes/Changes:

• Servers tab in setup now visible when Power-Grab in “Run” mode. Server name/port disabled if running.
• Changed default affinity setting: Now has separate download and scan affinities
• Added default affinity settings for downloads/scans to server setup tab
• Added “Peak Download Speed” statistic to Stats tab; keeps track of max download speed ever.
• Added “Scan All Groups” command verification dialog + option to not show dialog again
• Added setup option “Auto-Enable “Play” mode on startup?”; if checked, Power-Grab will auto-click the play button on startup
• Fixed File Menu Hot-Key text for “Get And Decode” to CTRL-G (said CTRL-D but it’s CTRL-G)
• Changed Queue “Delete” function to a submenu with more options (Selected, In Error, In Queue, On Hold, All)
• Added “Open Save-To Directory” option to Queue Window (if multiple folders found for selected tasks, a verification box will appear)
• Added forced trimming of user-entered directory names; leading or trailing spaces eventually lead to directories that can’t easily be deleted (Windows Explorer will return an error saying “Error Reading From Disk”, or similar.)
• Changed Find & Filter window edit boxes into “history” combo boxes, allowing you to easily repeat recent filters/finds without typing them back in.
• Added Reset button to “Stats” property page in Setup
• Fixed a periodical retry bug that could sometimes cause a crash
• Added handler for Power-Grab SysTray handler; if not minimized, single click activates program instance
