Raxco Software has released a minor update to its PerfectDisk defragmentation software, raising the version number to version 8.0 build 48. This program reorganizes the location and order of files on the hard drive so that they can be accessed more quickly. This results in faster program launches and the PC booting itself. PerfectDisk is suitable for Windows 2000 and higher, in both the 32- and 64-bit, and Itanium variants.
