Download Opera 7.22

Opera Software has recently released a new version of their browser software Opera. The version number has arrived at 7.22 and contains a small number of bug fixes and also fixes a security flaw† The changelog looks like this:

• Opera 7.22 includes Sun Java version 1.4.2_01
• Security update specifically addressing the downloading of setup files in Opera (bug reported by SG Masood)
• Fix for completion of help-file URL shortcuts

[break]However, the above changelog is not complete. A recently discovered bug, discussed at length in this forum thread, should also be fixed.

Opera 7.22 is available to download in the following flavors to date:
Windows (default – java)
Linux (i386 – ppc – sparc)
Unix (FreeBSD – Solaris)
