Download Opensuse 11.0

Version 11.0 of Opensuse was released on Thursday. Opensuse is one of many Linux distributions available and the software is sponsored by AMD and Novell. During installation you can choose from KDE, Gnome or Xfce as the graphical interface, but as usual with Linux a command line interface is also available. In version 11.0 are more than 200 improvements fitted. For example, the setup has been thoroughly addressed, making it easier to install openSuse. Package management has also become faster and easier and the latest versions of Gnome, KDE, Firefox and Openoffice.org are included. Below are the release notes for version 11.0:

A lot has changed since openSUSE 10.3, and a lot of work has gone into improving openSUSE. In this release you’ll find updated versions of almost every program, a vastly improved installer, faster and easier package management, and much more.
