With all the Windows and Linux violence of late, you’d almost forget that other Operating Systems exist as well. Theo de Raadt and his team give with the release of OpenBSD v2.9 at least that OpenBSD is still very much alive.

OpenBSD is an Open Source operating system and based on the BSD kernel, on which FreeBSD, NetBSD and BSDi are also based. OpenBSD is unique in that the development team actively ‘reviewed’ the source code, so no remote exploit has been discovered in it since its introduction.
