 NetSetMan logo (75 pix) Ilja Herlein has released version 4.7.0 of NetSetMan. With this program various settings can be adjusted quickly and easily by means of profiles. It is especially useful for laptop users who use their computer in different locations, such as at home and at work. For example, the IP address, the standard printer and the smtp server can be adjusted at the push of a button. The program is free to use, but there is also a pro version for commercial users, which also allows customization of the domain, the proxy server and the browser start page. The changelog for this release is as follows:

New:

  • New Tool: TCP / UDP Connections (IPv4 & IPv6)
  • Windows Tools menu items can now be disabled in NSM Administration
  • Tool ” Adapters Details “now shows modified and original MAC addresses

Fixed:

  • Version 4.6 had multiple issues with Windows XP
  • Fix: Network Scanner left enabled in Compact Mode even if NSM Tools were disabled in NSM Administration
  • Fix: Reassigning NICs in AutoSwitch conditions for copied ini file
  • Fix: Combining multiple error messages in NSM WiFi Management
  • Fix: Global AutoSwitch options remain active with disabled AutoSwitch
  • Fix: Error message in System Settings when changing the computer name
