Software Update: NetBeans IDE 6.7.1

Not too long ago, version 6.7.1 of NetBeans IDE was released. This development environment written in Java is intended for writing, compiling, debugging and implementing programs. It offers support for various programming languages, such as Java, Ruby, C++ and PHP. Using Netbeans IDE requires an installation of Sun’s Java SE Development Kit 5.0 update 18 or later. NetBeans IDE 6.7.1 includes the following changes:

  • Support for JavaFX 1.2
  • Upgrade of GlassFish v3 Prelude to include fixes from build #28f
  • Integration of important bug fixes based on user feedback, especially in the Java Editor and project scanning areas
