Software Update: Mozilla SeaMonkey 2.0.4

Mozilla Foundation has released the fourth update for SeaMonkey version 2.0. SeaMonkey is the continuation of the former Mozilla Application Suite and consists of a web browser and programs for e-mailing and reading news. In addition, there is a simple HTML editor. Unlike the Mozilla Application Suite, SeaMonkey is maintained by the community, while the Seamonkey Council oversees maintenance. Version 2.0.4 is a so-called maintenace release and it contains the following improvements:

What’s New in SeaMonkey 2.0.4:

  • Security fixes
  • Fixes for a number of non-security-relevant crashes, increasing the stability of the whole platform and the Mail & Newsgroups part of SeaMonkey
  • ChatZilla localization packs work again (Bug 540842)
  • FTP file upload was fixed (Bug 467524)
  • The internal help content was updated some more
