LoudHush is written for the Mac OS X platform in Cocoa/Objective-C. The program is an IAX client for the open-source Asterisk PBX server. This allows you to make, answer, transfer and put a call on hold. It has an address book that also looks up an incoming number. Support for multiple IAX accounts, Peer-to-Peer IAX dialing and Apple’s Bonjour is provided. The developers have released version 1.3.9 with the following changes:

- Force synchronization between UI and preferences system before evaluating bevahior on incoming call (1706)
- Fixed a bug in transfer that caused the transfer button to remain pressed if the transfer is aborted using Hangup (1606)
- Fixed a bug in transfer mode that prevented the delete key from editing the extension to transfer to (1606)
