Spread the love

KDevelop is an open source development environment intended to write, compile, debug and deploy programs. It mainly focuses on C and C++, but can be expanded as desired with the help of plugins. For example, support can be added for Fortran, Haskell, Java, Perl, Phyton and Ruby. The developers have released one of the latest releases in the 3.x branch with 3.5.5 as the version number. The abbreviated announcement looks like this:

KDevelop 3.5.5 released

For users that for some reason can’t update to KDevelop4, we released a bugfix version of the KDevelop3 series. KDevelop3 development was stopped around October 2008, but users have occasionally sent us patches that we incorporated in this release. Please download it from our download page because the binaries provided by some linux distros are crippled.
