Software Update: Kazaa Media Desktop 2.1.1

Sherman Networks, maker of the popular peer-to-peer client Kazaa, released a new version of its Media Desktop yesterday. This happened due to a serious security flaw in the software. In the new release, numbered 2.1.1, that leak has been fixed. Unfortunately, a real changelog is not provided.

What You Install With Kazaa Media Desktop

• Kazaa Media Desktop (KMD) – this is the main application that lets you search for and share files.
• TopSearch – this displays relevant digitally rights managed files (marked with Gold Icons) in search results. Powered by Altnet.
• BullGuard Lite – once enabled, BullGuard Lite provides virus protection when using KMD.
