Download JkDefragGUI 1.01

Emiel Wiel Draaijer released a new version of the user interface for Jeroen Kessels’ open source defragmenter Jkdefrag yesterday. That program is only provided as a DOS box, commandline or screensaver version. However, Jkdefraggui is more than just a graphical shell, it also adds options, including the ability to clean the hard drive before defragmenting, with or without the help of Crap Cleaner. The changelog of version 1.01 shows the following changes:

• Automatic update of the scheduled job with newest jkdefrag when downloaded
• Automatic update of the installed version with newest jkdefrag when downloaded
• Croatian translation
• Indonesian translation
• option to add a delay when doing a schedule at logon
• option to show logfile after defragmentation (GUI only)

• helpfile not displayed on network drive
• bug JkDefrag version not updated when updated through automatic update at startup
• bug JkDefrag downloaded everytime when run from BartPe enviroment
• bug “Show System” selected on startup when disabled
• bug spacehogs disabled when selected and enabled when not selected
• bug calendar not displayed correctly on Vista OS

Other

• Improved U3 version no need re-download JkDefrag on every usage
• Removed screensaver copied to system32 during update when not installed
• Removed some external links in help menu from BartPE Mode
