Download Intel Desktop Control Center 1.2.0059
Intel has a new version of Desktop Control Center in the form of 1.2.0059 released† This program displays the processor speed, bus speed, memory speed and latencies, speed of AGP and PCI, temperatures, rotational speeds of fans and a number of other things. Desktop Control Center also provides the ability to run stress tests to verify system stability. Unfortunately, not all Intel motherboards are capable of working with DCC. The list below shows which mom boards are supported by the software and what the changes are in this release:
FIXED DEFECTS:
- 902079 – Fixed issure where IDCC Memory speed is not reported consistently between locations in the app
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Selecting Default for the two BurnIn settings causes the BIOS to enter a disabled burnin state if running on a D875BZ or D865RL. The BIOS forces you to enter a value for Host&IO or AGP/PCI.
- Selecting Help from the Windows Start menu opens the English version of the Help file.
