Software update: inlook 0.8.15
The program inlook is written in Perl and is able to receive and send mail. In addition, there is an address book for storing addresses and a spam box for unwanted messages. The program supports the well-known pop3/smtp combination and does not require an X environment. Because of this, it runs on almost all POSIX and BSD operating systems. Version 0.8.15 has been enjoying the light of day for a few days now and includes the following list of changes since the previous entry in the Meuktracker:
Version 0.8.15:
- Code cleanup
- Added a function for viewing the whole message when reading a message
- Fixed a bux with the spam inbox
- Fixed a bug with the included text editor
- Modified included text-editor, now using “EOF!” to finish the typing of a message
- Removed the old information about typing [m] for menu, when any keys other the ones listed in the menu can be used for this purpose
