Software Update: HyperSnap-DX 6.02.01

Hyperionics has updated HyperSnap-DX to version 6.02.01. Screenshots can be created and edited with this program. The screenshots can be made in the normal desktop environment but also in a DirectX, Direct3D, Voodoo and Glide environment. There is also an auto-scroll function that allows your screenshot to be larger than what you actually see on your screen, for example from a web page. New in this version is that changes to the settings, among other things, are saved immediately, so that they are not lost if the computer is shut down before HyperSnap is closed. What`s new in this version?

• On Capture Settings, Capture tab, added the “Default background color” and its transparency setting.
• HyperSnap now tries to save all the options and settings to the registry as soon as they are modified, to avoid problems with not saving them upon system shut-down, when HyperSnap was never exited.
• Added command line text capture tool, available upon request at this time from Hyperionics.
• Small correction – text capture mode was activated when it was supposed to be disabled.
• Fix to remove a possibility of accidentally starting both text and graphics capture mode, which could give unpredictable results.
