SurfRight has released an update to HitmanPro version 3.7.9. HitmanPro can remove viruses, spyware, Trojan horses, rootkits and other forms of malware. By smart scanning and using cloud computing, the software performs a complete scan in often no more than a few minutes. To remove infections, the program must be activated. The first time a free key can be requested, but after thirty days a new key must be purchased. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

- Integration of Department Of Justice ransomware user32.dll decrypter.

- Detection of local proxy servers.
- Removal engine to handle malformed file/folder names.
- Detection of malformed registry values.
- Removal of specific ZeroAccess variants.
Fixed:
- False positive on user32.dll on Windows 10 Technical Preview.
- Rare crash when user clicked on Activate Free License on machines with specific NVIDIA GeForce driver.
