Software Update: Hitachi Drive Fitness Test 3.60

Hitachi, which recently acquired IBM’s loss-making HDD business, has released a new version of its Drive Fitness Test tool targeted online† As the name suggests, this is a diagnostic tool that checks the health of the user’s hard drive. A bootable diskette is created for this. It can be used for both the original IBM hard drives and the new Hitachi models and can here be brought down. The changelog covers two things:
