Software update: Half-Life 2 demo
More than a month after the release of the game, Valve decided to release a demo of Half-Life 2 in collaboration with ATi. In this trial version, the player can play the first few levels, including ‘Ravenholm’, of the game. The game requires a 1.2GHz processor, 256MB memory and a DirectX 7 compatible video card, but a system with a 2.4GHz processor, 512MB memory and a video card that masters the graphics tricks of DirectX 9 is recommended. Furthermore, there is a steamaccount required to play. The 769MB download can here be brought down.
There has been a discussion about Half-Life 2 on the forum for quite some time now.
