Software Update: Go 1.12.7 / 1.11.12

Go, also referred to as golang, is a programming language developed by Google and the open source community since 2007. Among other things, the language is cloudflare, google, Netflix and Uber used. Go code can be compiled for Android, Linux, macOS, FreeBSD, and Windows, on i386, amd64, and ARM processor architectures. The syntax of Go is similar to that of C and similar programming languages, although there are also some notable differences. Go also offers the option of distributed programming, where several processes are executed simultaneously. The team has released Go versions 1.12.7 and 1.11.12 with the following announcement:

Go 1.12.7 and Go 1.11.12 are released

hello gophers,

We have just released Go versions 1.12.7 and 1.11.12, minor point releases.

These releases include fixes to cgo, the compiler, and the linker.

You can download the binary and source distributions from the Go web site:

To compile 1.12.7 from source using a Git clone, update to the release with “git checkout go1.12.7” and build as usual.
