Download Gaim 0.80

The open source and cross platform instant messenger Gaim has been updated to version 0.80. The program allows you to chat through the networks of AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu and Zephyr. In this release, browser support and file transfers have been improved, among other things. the complete changelog can be admired below:

New Features:

• Ability to send files from the conversation window (Daniel Atallah)
• Drag a file into the buddy list or a conversation to send it to that buddy

• Gaim uses the new file chooser when compiled for GTK+ 2.4 (Fernando Herrera)

• Parentheses are now displayed around the title and tabs of conversations from offline accounts or parted chats.

Bug Fixes:

• The firefox browser option now works with firefox 0.9
• Buddy icons in conversations no longer depend on the buddy list
