Software Update: Flock 2.5.2

Spread the love

The developers behind the web browser Flock have updated their program to version 2.5.2. Flock is based on version 3.0 of Mozilla Firefox and there are versions for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. The makers have labeled it ‘social browser’ because the browser offers built-in support for social networks such as Flickr, Facebook, Youtube, Del.icio.us, Technorati, Photobucket and various blogging and RSS services. Version 2.5.2, which is only available in English, has several bug fixes and security has been aligned with that of version 3.0.13 of Firefox. The latest version of the Adobe Flash player is also included. The full changelog looks like this:

New Features in 2.5.2

  • Incorporated Mozilla’s 3.0.13 patch for Firefox.
  • Incorporated the latest Adobe Flash Player version. Please, make sure to close any Firefox window, prior to any install or update, in order for the Adobe Flash Player version to be updated.

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed the issue where logging to Flickr would log the user out of Yahoo Mail and vice-versa.
  • Fixed the issue where the Facebook notification flyout was blank, when viewing a non-Facebook page

A complete list of bugs fixed in 2.5.2 can be found here.
